Antares Lighting Launches Complete Line of Alcor High-Power LED Lamps

SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA – November 2009 – Antares Lighting has launched their full line of high-power Alcor LED lamps, now available in volume quantities. The Alcor LED family includes the MR16 LED, MR11 LED, PAR16 LED, PAR20 LED, PAR30 LED, and the PAR38 LED. The new bulbs offer a low-energy consuming light source that utilizes premium high-power LEDs that are carefully selected to ensure overall color consistency. The Alcor series is ideal for retrofitting energy-hungry halogen bulbs that are recessed in cans, tracks, and pendants.  Additionally the bulbs can be installed into new building constructions that require strict low energy requirements. All Alcor LED lamps are UL Listed.

Alcor MR16 & MR11 LED Lamp

The new Alcor MR16 and MR11 LED lamps consume only 3 Watts and 2 Watts respectively, and provide lumen output equivalent to 20 Watt halogen bulbs. Each Alcor MR16 and MR11 runs at 12V AC/DC and are compatible with both magnetic and electronic transformers, allowing greater compatibility with pre-existing halogen installations during retrofits.

The Alcor MR16 and MR11 lamps provide 50,000 hours of maintenance-free light output and consistent color rendering. Each Alcor MR16 lamp is available in warm white, neutral white, and cool white, in addition to optional beam spreads of 25°, 40°, and 60°. The Alcor MR11 lamp is available in warm white, neutral white, and cool white, and beam spreads of 30° and 60°.

Alcor PAR16, PAR20, PAR30, & PAR38 LED Lamps

The new Alcor PAR LEDs are designed to retrofit existing halogen PAR16, PAR20, PAR30, and PAR38 lamps. Each Alcor PAR provides lumen output equivalent to 35-75 Watt halogen bulbs while consuming only a fraction of energy, and lasting 25 times longer for over 50,000 hours of maintenance-free light output.

The Alcor PAR series can retrofit high energy-consuming PAR lamps right out of the box, featuring standard E26 medium sockets, 120/240 VAC universal voltage input, and full dimming capabilities for lamps installed in approved dimming circuits (not available on the Alcor PAR16). Each Alcor PAR lamp is available in warm white, neutral white, and cool white, and in beam spreads of 25°, 40°, and 60°.

Antares Lighting Introduces New Alcor MR16 LED Lamp

SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA ­ April 2008 - Antares Lighting has unveiled their new Alcor MR16 LED lamp, set to formally launch in 2009.

The Alcor MR16 LED lamp is ideal for new MR16 applications as well as existing MR16 installations. The Alcor LED lamps consume significantly less energy than their halogen MR16 predecssors, lasting up to 50,000 hrs of operation.

The Alcor lamps will feature standard GX5.3 bi-pin bases (12-VAC) for seamless retrofits into any new or existing track, arm, or recessed socket. Also available are GU10-based MR16 lamps for 110-VAC installations.

The Alcor offers 900% longer life (50,000 hrs while maintaining >70% lumen maintenance) than halogen MR16s, and provides over 70 lumens per watt. Equally productive is its machine-cut aluminum housing, which blends a streamlined satin-anodized finish that offers greater heat absorption and dissipation.

The Alcor MR16 LED lamp will be available in standard color temperatures of warm white, cool white, and day light, and beam angles of 15°, 24°, 40°, and 60°.

 

Antares Lighting Unveils New LED Lighting Systems

SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA – March 2008 - Antares Lighting has introduced their new Bellatrix LED strip lighting system, set to formally launch in 2009. The new linear LED fixture will provide a versatile high-end lighting solution for a variety of design applications which include hospitality, commercial, and retail installations.

The new solid-state LED fixture will dramatically reduce long-term energy costs by offering low-voltage (24V DC) energy requirements, and substantial longer life (50,000 hours) than standard linear fluorescents. This difference in performance provides users with an efficient and self-sufficient lighting fixture that dramatically lowers consumption and replacement costs.

The Bellatrix fixtures are linkable for continuous lighting configurations using snap-in link cords and connectors. It also features eight different lengths, in addition to one 3-watt high-power LED per every foot, illuminating at 80 lumens per watt.

Housed in a streamlined satin-anodized aluminum finish, the Bellatrix offers simplistic installation utilizing snap-on mounting brackets and fixture-to-fixture link cords. Multiple color temperatures are available in warm white, cool white, daylight, red, blue, and green.
